Psychologist Application Information

The State of Nevada does not currently have reciprocity with any state or province. An expedited licensure application process is offered to CPQ, ABPP and NRHSPP certificate holders, as well as those who have been licensed for 20 or more years. If you meet these requirements, please make sure to mark the appropriate certification on your application form.

Getting Licensed in the State of Nevada

Welcome to Nevada. For more information on the educational and training requirements for Nevada licensure, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page. To apply for licensure, the first step is to either:

complete the Psychologist Applicant Screening Form and mail it to the Board office with your $150 application fee or email it to the Board office with a request for a PayPal link to pay the application fee online, or
submit the Online Applicant Screening and Payment Form.

After the Board office receives your applicant screening form, and unless you are eligible for an expedited application process, you will receive an email invitation from the Association for State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB) to join the Psychological Licensure Universal System (PLUS).

The Board office will separately contact applicants who are eligible for the expedited licensure process.
